The Caribbean Education Institute Suriname (CEIS) was founded on September 1998 in Paramaribo By Pastor Ein Kirk and is currently located at the Mangrove Street in Beekhuizen.
The managing director also owns the Institute is Mr. Wayne Keith Telgt. The reason for the founding of this institute is twofold. On the one hand, it responds
on the needs of mainly English-speaking pupils whose parents have been remixed to Suriname and since 1995 is a Member State of the Caricom and against that
background for better integration into the caraibbian education system. This Institute has since its inception full recognition of the education program by the Ministry of Education Science and culture.
