IS THE CERTIFICATE Recognized?

The CXC certificate is recognized by the government of Suriname and is similar to the HAVO certificate of the Surinamese school system. In Suriname you can continue directly at each one of the higher educational schools, except the university.

To continue studying at the university the student has to attend a bridge class, before continuing their studies. In the Caribbean, USA and Europe the student can go directly to college or the university.
